Optional extras

Somewhere to spend all that strength.

A few times a year I take a group of women up something big.
Entirely optional. Nobody is graded on attendance.

Previous challenges

Where we've been.

These started life under Inner Light Fitness Coaching and I've kept them, because a day in the hills does something no gym session can.

Snowdon

A long, honest day out. Some of the group had never walked up anything bigger than a car park ramp.

Yorkshire Three Peaks

Twenty-four miles, three summits, and a level of collective delirium I genuinely miss.

Lake swims and hill days

Smaller, closer, colder. Usually followed by very good chips.

How they work

Trained for, not endured.

If you're training with me, we build towards it in your sessions, legs that can handle descents, a back that can carry a pack, ankles that aren't a liability.

You don't have to be a client to come. Bring a friend, bring your sister, bring the colleague who keeps saying she'd love to do something like this.

Everyone walks at the pace of the group. No one gets left behind and no one gets shouted at up a hill.
